Please make it the law that companies must publish their parental leave policies.

Employer rates of maternity and paternity pay should be publicly accessible and linked anywhere the company is advertising job opportunities.

Why is this important?

Some companies offer 6 months full pay to both parents, others offer £139 a week maximum. Often there's no way to know what the company offers until you've joined the company. It allows some companies to get away with paying almost nothing in terms of paternity and maternity pay.

There's an easy solution, the government is running a consultation on whether they should force big companies to publish their policies. A huge show of public support could tip them into making this the law. Drowning out the dodgy companies who still only pay statutory minimum.
