Prime Minister Boris Johnson,

Please introduce an Employment Bill that protects all our rights at work when we leave the EU. It's taken decades to make sure we live in a country that has sick pay, holiday pay, parental pay and safe workplaces. What we've fought for needs to be protected, not scrapped.

Keep all of our rights at work after Brexit, no matter what Brexit we get.

Why is this important?

Last December, the government said it would publish a new Employment Bill containing all of our new rights at work after Brexit. [1] But the Bill is nowhere to be found. Meaning our rights at work from January 2021 are at risk. Whether you agree with Brexit or not, we can't allow politicians to use it as an excuse to chop down the basic rights at work that have taken decades to win. If we don’t challenge this now, our rights at work will be slashed - everything from maximum working hours to maternity pay.

The point of our rights at work laws are to protect everyone and to make sure dodgy bosses can’t exploit us.
